Your Ultimate Guide to Anti-Aging Skin Care

I am still 25 years old but I am already following an anti-skin aging regimen. I heard from a local celebrity that we should not wait to be 50 to do something for our skin. I admit that I have a younger looking skin (thanks Mom!) but I still don’t exclude myself for skin aging.

I’m not using any anti aging creams yet but I follow the guides below to prevent skin-aging and premature aging as well. Yet these guides are still useful for those who are suffer from skin aging, it will surely improve your skin condition and lessen the signs of skin aging.

Water, water and water.

Whenever I notice that my skin is dry, I imagine the cracked land in Africa during droughts. We know from our elementary science to drink 8 glasses of water a day. To ensure that I get the right amount, I put water in one liter of bottle. I may sure that I finish that at the end of the day.

For coffee lovers like me, I read in a newspaper that we should drink an additional glass for every cup of we sip. Savor the soup since it also counts to our recommended water intake.

Watch our diet

For the sake of our skin, we should consume fiber and antioxidants found in fruits and vegetables. Purple colored veggies like eggplants are good sources of antioxidants. Most vegetables are good sources of vitamin C which is good for our skin. We should start putting tomatoes, spinach, carrots and bell peppers in our grocery carts now.

Avoid eating processed food and junk foods. They only contain little or no nutrients at all. Worse, they are packed with preservatives and carcinogens that is linked with ailments and diseases like cancer. Lastly, avoid oily food since they will just go out of our system as pimples.

Mr. Sun

Do you tease your mom for carrying umbrellas every time? Well, you should start following them. Even if you just cross the street, you should protect yourself from the sun. Use a parasol, scarf or a cap to hide your skin from the sun. Avoid too much sun exposure and sunscreen is our best friend.

Your sunscreen should have at least SPF15 to be effective and should be reapplied when are sweating, wet or in prolonged exposure. Lastly, I apply sunscreen at least 15 minutes before I head out to give time for my skin to absorb the product.

Anti-Aging product

When using a product, we should choose the right one that best works for us. Your skin is different from the famous start endorsing the product. Carefully select products that contain anti-aging ingredients like collagen and CoEnzyme Q10. Read labels careful and if you have time search the internet about the product that you are trying to use. If you thinking of taking supplements, consult your doctor and get to know more about the product. You should be a smart buyer when it comes to skin care.

Visit Your Doctor

This is the most neglected activity in skin care. You should visit your dermatologist at twice a year to check your skin condition and prescribe the right products to use.
