If you feel you have extra pounds and have tried to shed a little weight, then you must understand how frustrating it is having to try different weight loss programs and diets that guarantee you to lose with only to find that they are not effective. Most weight loss methods will have been approved by weight loss “experts” to work on everybody. The field of weight loss is filled with confusing and misleading information and instructions such that if you are not careful, some of the information can actually endanger your health and life.
Many people may ask, is it fundamentally correct to say that there is a weight loss way that is agreed upon by experts to be efficient in losing fat? The answer is NO because most of these procedures work on different people and is not suitable for others. However, there are fundamental points to note as far as weight loss is concerned.
Fundamentals of weight loss
a) Calories deficit
Every weight loss expert will tell you that in order to lose weight, you must be in calories deficit situation. In other words, you must be burning more calories than you take in a certain period of time. There are many weight loss programs out there that advice people how to lose weight without addressing the calories count issue. It does not matter what food you eat or how intense the exercise you perform are, if your calories intake is more than the calories used then you will never lose weight.
b) Food quality
Take for instance your car. If you fuel your car with high quality fuel every time, not only will it perform better and efficiently, it will also last long, have less waste and even lesser technicalities that are gas related. The same applies to your body. The quality of food you eat directly determines what will be used and what will be junk. Most people eat very bad food and the worst part of it is that they are aware that the food they is will be of no good to building their bodies. It is very important to eat organic foods without any preservatives, fats and sugars if you wish to lose weight.
Although eating quality food is very important, it is more important to combine certain foods and eliminate the bad ones. This assist a lot in calories deficit and you may find yourself eating healthy and losing weight without necessarily doing straining exercises.
The hardest part of implementing this plan for many people is actually moving away from junk food especially since they look so appealing and they run into them in almost every corner they turn. However, you need not abstain completely; serious people aiming at losing weight can have one or two of their favorite food in the “naughty food” list that they can take once in awhile as long as they keep track of their calories. It is vital to ensure than at least 90 percent of the food you eat is quality food with quality fat burning properties.
