Do not read this article expecting to hear name brands such as Neutrogena or Proactiv. Those products are what come to mind for most people who think about the best acne cures on the market, but there are much better options which do not come with the dried out skin and recurring outbreaks that come with those products.
Natural Ingredients
Most of the products currently in the acne market only include one or two ingredients which actually prevent or heal acne. Instead of paying high dollar for products loaded with chemicals that harm your skin more than they help, you can just buy these ingredients in their natural forms to treat your acne for much less.
Tea tree oil and lavender oil are about the only oils you want to put on your face. You do not want to apply these to open pimples or sores, but they can be used on acne and even acne scars to help it heal. At the same time, you want to avoid makeup products that contain other oils, especially mineral oils, if you have an acne problem.
Sea salt can be mixed with water to form a paste that is beneficial to massage onto your face. This is an all natural alternative to chemically based masks and scrubs that will likely dry out the skin in the long run.
One last ingredient is Vitamin E. You can buy these in capsule form and break them open to put it directly onto your acne or spots with acne scarring. It is safe to use up to two times a day and can help reduce the chance of scarring while softening scars you may already have.
Physical Activity
There are two natural benefits that come from exercise: sweat and hormonal balance. Sweating out the pores can help clear them of dirt and cells that could create blockage and lead to acne. It also releases hormones often referred to as the ‘feel good’ hormones because they elevate your mood, but can also affect other hormone levels within your body.
It is common for women who typically experience breakouts around the time they start their menstrual cycles to report this clearing completely up when they begin a regular exercise program. Teenagers can also see improvements in their acne if they get more active.
You do not have to spend three hours a day in the gym to see benefits in your body or face. Just work some activity into your day as often as possible and make sure to work up a sweat.

There really are some foods which can lead to or worsen acne! One of the biggest reasons many people believe stress leads to acne is because most of us eat more when we are under stress, and it is in those moments that we are less likely to make the best choices.
If you are taking in a lot of greasy, sugary, processed foods then you are not only spiking and crashing your blood sugar over and over throughout the day, but you are experiencing the hormonal fluctuations that come along with that. Switching to mostly natural, whole foods can do wonders for your skin.
It is not that you can never again have a cookie or slice of cheesecake, but the best acne cures do focus on giving your body the best ingredients possible on a regular basis, whether it be tea tree oil for your outer skin or apples for your metabolism.
