There is a part of our brain that once we have made a decision about something like teeth whitening we want instant results and do not want to wait weeks or months to see an improved smile.
Society today is impatient and in some ways rightly so and it keeps suppliers and industry on their toes and ensure we get a good service in the quickest time. Things like queuing in supermarkets and petrol stations is simply infuriating and makes us wonder why we do not get treated in a better way. The only other way to get instant whiter teeth is something like porcelain veneers which sit over the top of the teeth and make the teeth look perfect in shape and colour but are a lot more expensive than having tooth whitening.
Many dentists offer the bleaching trays which require you sleep in them for fourteen consecutive nights but for many people this affects their sleep pattern and they stop using them which is a shame because even though the trays are not as instant as the laser method they offer an excellent way of whitening the teeth and the trays can be used again and again to keep staining away.
If you have lighter coloured and want them to brighten then you will get the likely results with many of the light based whitening products in just one hours session but if you have much darker teeth then it would be worth talking to your dentist and working out the likely cost and timescale to get them brightened up again.
Once you have reached your goal of whiter teeth then do not neglect good dental care and ensure you visit the dentist regularly to maintain an overall good dental health care.
