Insomnia can take many forms. Going to bed at night, just to find your self tossing and turning is the most common form. Then some of us wake up in the middle of the night , feeling wide awake and staring at the ceiling. Frustrating to say the least! Yet the more you get frustrated the worse it gets. This can easily create a vicious cycle of worrying you will not sleep and then not sleeping because your worried! Does this sound all too familiar?

Another tip to naturally relieve your insomnia, is to take that time to listen to relaxation audios. They can be guided journeys or meditations of some kind. The important thing is that you find the persons voice relaxing and soothing. Usually you will find that you fall asleep long before it is over and sleep through the rest of the night. There are two main reasons this works so well. One is because it takes you mind off whatever was worrying you, The second is by listening to something soothing, your brain waves naturally begin to change. Drifting into alpha and theta brain waves, you naturally and easily, fall asleep and stay asleep through the night.
