Our most popular sizes is a mobile shelf rack that measures sixty-nine or eighty inches in height. Width sizes are three, four, and five foot widths.
Additionally, organizations can choose between two shelf depth options.
Smaller storage requirements can be accommodated by the eighteen inch shelf size. Larger storage needs, such as those in hospitals where the carts may have to travel round trip through multiple floors, are better accommodated by the twenty-four inch depth size.
Units are highly maneuverable and simultaneously stable, thanks to heavy duty, five-inch wheels that have locking mechanisms to keep the shelving unit stable after its momentum is stopped.
The standard number of shelves for each unit is four shelves each, but more can be added to customize the unit to specific storage needs and applications. Each shelf can support 300 pounds of material.
Mobile wire shelving is aesthetically customizable as well. Clients can choose between chrome plated and powder coated finishes.
Food service and health care organizations find the shiny finish of chrome more attractive, whereas businesses using their mobile shelves for dry and cold storage then to prefer the powder coated finish. Both are equally corrosion and rust resistant, so this is mostly a matter of taste.
