3. Avoid sitting for too long. If your job requires a lot of sitting or you live a sedentary lifestyle, take time to stand, stretch once in a while or take time to walk. Walking, and other forms of exercises can also help in helping your digestive system work perfectly and allow less pressure on the swollen hemorrhoids when you move your bowels.
4. Take warm baths. This will also help relieve the pain and discomfort brought about by swollen blood vessels. To help you relieve the hemorrhoids faster, you also have to take warm baths regularly. Warm water helps shrink the hemorrhoids and help ease the pain and swelling as well, but you have to take note to make a warm bath regularly.
5. Make sure that you wipe gently to avoid irritating the area where hemorrhoids are present. You can also use medicated pads to help you treat the area as well but make sure that you also cleanse it well before medication.
6. Herbal medications. There are also herbs that are said to help in treating and alleviating the pain and discomfort of hemorrhoids. Horse chestnut is one that can help relieve the swelling. Red sage on the other hand helps improve your blood circulation which in turn can help to combat hemorrhoids.
7. Vitamin E. Vitamin E is important in quelling inflammation in the body especially the internally and helps a lot in helping you ease the discomfort of hemorrhoids as well, so take time to get enough Vitamin E. You can also apply this on the hemorrhoid area as well, but make sure that you are doing it correctly.
8. Do a sitz bath regularly. A sitz bath is sitting on a warm water where your buttocks and bottom part is submerged in warm water. This is done in 10 to 20 minutes and done regularly in each week as well.
