Present lifestyle puts kids in a very harsh reality. From very young age, they are put into an alienated world, where if one were to be obese, it takes a heavy toll on them. As they could be subject to constant taunts and made laughing stoke, creating traumatic experiences. Where that age does not require it. It’s just the way world has come to be. The idea is to shed the inhibitions and solve the problem by positive thinking. In long run they also lend up developing long lasting friendships.

The goal of these weight loss camps, is to make sure that even though, a child is obese, he or she do not need to be deprived of any fun activities his/her peers are taking part in. That itself is the positive first step towards negating low self esteem and taking a positive u-turn.
