Fasting enables your body system to recharge and purify itself. When fasting, no strain is put on your colon because you will be taking plenty of fluids and vegetables. Fasting helps the colon system to remove harmful chemicals and toxins out of your system. They are various fasting method available. These are discussed below.
Juice Fast
This involves consumption of vegetable and fruits juices. As these juices run through your blood system, they remove unwanted chemicals and toxins from your body. The juices are very digestible and the more the quantity you drink, the healthier your body becomes. Due to their easy digestibility, the digestive enzymes conserve more energy making the colon system to function better. This helps in checking any cancer manifestation. Drink plenty of juices assures you of a clean and well functioning colon.
Water Fast
Water is readily available and in most cases it is a free natural element. Drinking water should therefore be as natural as food consumption for every human being. According to experts, water fasting is a thorough process. This is because you will only have water on your system. This can prove to be quite a task but if you are to perform a colon cleanse, it is worth it. Water fasting results are very encouraging; you get a thoroughly cleaned colon system.
Vegetable Fast
There has never been a better way to cleanse you colon than eating vegetables. These products are not only readily available, but also their health benefits are numerous. Consumption of raw vegetables and fruit salad assist your system in neutralization of toxins and harmful chemicals.
Fasting has also shown that you can lose weight while juice fasting helps with detoxification. The body organs are allowed to have a break and remove unwanted retained fluids through passage of urine.
Before you embark on fasting, follow the following processes:
1. Take a very light meal prior to starting your fast
2. Buy yourself enough red apples to last you the entire fast period.
3. Once you commence on the procedure, start the day by drinking a glass of water.
4. Take some green tea mixed with lemon. Green tea is rich in oxidation elements while lemon has the appetite suppressant elements and has the calming effect you will need. Eat an apple for breakfast.
5. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. The water will help in the removal of the toxins
6. If you crave for food at any time of the day, eat an apple or as many as you can consume during the entire day.
7. In the sundown, drink some water or lemon juice
8. At this juncture, use an enema to help accelerate the bowl movement.
9. Repeat the procedure during the entire fasting period.
The reason for fasting before a colon cleansing procedure is to acclimatize your body to the deprivation of food. When you follow the above procedures, your colon-cleansing process will be improved.
