I hope you don’t really think that you are an idiot because you are badly overweight. What you have to do is to find a diet plan that will work for you. By that I mean that you need a program that you can stay with for the long term. A short term crash diet may take off some pounds but you will immediately regain the weight when you come off the diet.
So many people are desperately searching for a good diet program which will work for them and which they can easily stay with. Many have probably tried several diets already and achieved temporary weight loss only to gain back the weight almost at once.
You might well say those kind of plans are dieting for idiots because they simply will not work for the longer term. Short term quick weight loss diets may take off some pounds but you will gain all of it right back again when you return to your former eating habits.
There is a great desire to find a fast working diet which will take off a lot of weight and keep it off for good. Let me assure you that beyond any doubt there is no such diet. This is truly dieting for idiots because you starve yourself on a supposedly quick weight loss diet,lose some weight,then immediately put the weight back on when you stop the diet.
That is the problem with all of these diets. You cannot stay on them for the long term. They are lose weight quick schemes which really are dieting for idiots. It is useless to lose weight on a diet which you cannot stay with for the long term. You will always regain all the lost weight when you stop the diet.
If your desire is to lose weight and keep it off for good,you need a diet program which you can live with permanently. It must of course be a nutritious diet which combines the type of foods that you can enjoy,is good for you and that you find easy to stay on. In short it is a new lifestyle.
You should be able to select the foods you want to eat. When you have to stick to someone else’s idea of what is good for you,you will usually find the diet program difficult to adhere to.
Additionly you should have an exercise program which is pleasant and which you enjoy. It must make you feel good so that want to keep on exercising. Exercise and diet go hand in hand. You need both to successfully lose weight and keep it off.
