Are You Doing the Best Thing For Your Health?

I read something somewhere the other day that stuck in my mind about my health. I will pass it on as you need to be concerned about your health.

“Health is the state of body and mind in which the body is not consciously present to its owner.”

What does this mean?

To me it means that when your healthy, you have no problems sleeping, eating, moving about easily and without pain and thinking clearly. If you want to see a healthy body look at a normal child. Their bodies have not seen any abuse, nor aging.

I heard a little story the other day… A doctor told one of his patients that “he was burning the candle at both ends” – You would think the patient would be concerned – right? Instead the patient said to the doctor “Where can I get more wax?” The truth is we all have a limited amount of wax, when its gone, there is no more!

Now, how do you stay healthy?

Eat regularly with plenty of fruits and vegetables, drink at least 6 – 8oz. glasses of pure, unpolluted water, exercise regularly 3 times a week minimum and learn to breath deep.

Qigong is practised for health maintenance. The Qi in Qigong means breath or air in Chinese, and, by extension, life force, dynamic energy or even cosmic breath. Gong means work applied to a discipline or the resultant level of skill, so qigong is thus breath work or energy work.

Staying healthy is simple and if practiced correctly has almost no cost attached. Most of us nowadays have been brainwashed into believing that the more complex a product or procedure is, the more value it has to us. There is big money in healthcare. Conversely, there is not much money to be made in preventing disease.

Think of your health as a triangle surrounded by a large circle. Each side of the triangle represents the mental, structural and chemical aspects of health. The circle that surrounds the triangle is our spiritual side. To have perfect health all these parts must be working together with total balance and harmony.

At first you might think, “How can I balance all these at the same time?” And you thinking is partly correct. It would be next to impossible if it was totally up us. This is not the case.

The body that God has given us is fantastic. It has the ability to repair itself, to keep itself healthy through the immune system and to strengthen and improve itself every day of our lives.

Every thing that we do including the supplements that we consume influences the physical and spiritual harmony of our bodies. You can get excited when you think how you can change your health for the better. All this can be done by the management of how we use our bodies and controlling what goes into our bodies.

Some people think that you can get all the nutrition you need by just eating properly. By getting a balanced array of fruits and vegetables. This was true 100 or more years ago. It is no longer possible. You are probably asking why. Keep reading.

They say -”It’s virtually impossible to get more than 25 international units (IU) of vitamin E through diet alone”. All vitamins are not created the same.

Some nutraceuticals have highly sophisticated delivery systems. For example, the best of them have excipients that ensure the nutrients are absorbed via the lining of the walls of the upper intestine, allowing them to enter the bloodstream where they go to work.

Now let’s look briefly at what the U.S. Government is telling us is our “recommended daily allowance” (RDA). Research has uncovered that these levels recommended by the government are not enough to keep you in top health. They are the minimum that will only keep from showing signs of deficiency.

Initially a multi-vitamin is the answer for good health maintenance. It should be a complete as possible without combining ingredients that are incompatible. You should not have to add a variety of extra pills to get the full effect of a multi-vitamin.

Finally, maybe you are wondering about the choice between a vitamin is capsule or pill form as compared with the same vitamin in liquid form. If the vitamin is in a solid pill form that has been manufactured in a manner to allow the pill to pass through the stomach without substantial breakdown, then it would be superior to a liquid vitamin.
